Schwinn Free Wheeler 2 Double Swivel Wheel Jogging Stroller
“We got everything we asked for with the Schwinn Free Wheeler 2 Double Jogger. Some added bonuses include 1) side-by-side double joggers are bulky and usually very heavy for one person to collapse and throw in a car, or store in the garage, but this one is a one handed collapse and collapses to about a one foot width. It is light and easy to pick-up (even for a 140 lb pregnant woman) 2) there is a small storage sack and wrist band that comes with the stroller…” (more…)

I bought the Schwinn Jogging Stroller after reading tons of reviews all of kinds of brands and models. I wanted a stroller that I could easily use at our nearby park, but one that I could easily pack up myself and put in the trunk for trips to the shopping mall or other parks that are all around the area.

I was a bit concerned because the box looked like it had been opened, but I actually had no trouble with the directions, so I had the whole thing assembled and with no missing (or extra) parts in no time.
First point, I really love the canopy top. It seems to be at the correct angle and height to protect my baby from the elements, but still allow baby to see what is going on. There is plenty of room in the seat, I can just put his sippy cup and some treats next to him and he can just grabs what he wants.
The adjustable height on the handle is great as my husband is 6′1” and he says it works great and does not bother his back or shoulders to use it. I do wish it had some kind of a latching mechanism when I fold it up to make it a bit easier to carry.
I have now tried the schwinn jogging stroller on both regular payment and cement, as well as loose gravel. To my surprise, it handled great on all types, even while jogging and only using one hand. Even going off curbs what actually a real breeze and it maneuvered great! It seems really sturdy and strong, and I am totally confortable that my baby will be safe and secure.
I must confess, I have used this jogging stroller mostly for walking as opposed to jogging, but that is because of my lack of ambition, not because of the stroller. Overall, this one really fit the bill, and the price was surprisingly affordable. We are very impressed and would highly recommend the Schwinn Jogging Stroller for anyone that is currently shopping for a reliable, solid stroller.

- For rough terrain (uneven sidewalks, unpaved roads, cobblestone streets) choose a stroller with large wheels and a heavy-duty suspension. A swiveling front wheel rounds corners more easily, but for faster speeds you’ll want to lock the front wheel.
- Keep in mind that you should never use a schwinn jogging stroller until your baby can sit up on his own, which usually occurs at around six or seven months. Before then, his muscles aren’t strong enough to support his neck and spine.
- Test different models and practice folding them. The folding maneuver should be simple, especially if you’re counting on being able to toss the jogger into your car and then head out to the park. (Of course, make sure that it fits in your vehicle’s trunk.) The schwinn jogging stroller with the swivel wheel is a popular choice.
- An adjustable five-point harness is a must for keeping your child secure. Two types of brakes increase the safety quotient too: a bicycle-style hand brake for slowing down and a foot-applied brake for parking or stopping on a sloping surface.

The Fixed Wheel Style: Which should you choose? If you are going to be mostly running or jogging, the fixed wheel such as the Joyrider would be the best fit for ease of use. If you are predominately going to be walking, then the swivel wheel (free wheeler) would be a good choice because of the flexibility. Both styles of Schwinn |
